Only Missed The Sun (when it started to snow)

I have been listening to this song “Let her go” by Passenger and I like the lyrics. I missed the sun not only when it started to snow but also when it has been raining with grey sky in cold weather for week on out.  A break of warm sun light seems like a reward (Pic: January 2012, Down town Cary, NC. USA.).

Missed The Sun

You miss something when you face the unwanted opposite thing.

You have good eyes. I wished the pansies were a bit better shape. They look a bit on the sadness side.

      Thank you 🙂

Thank you… I hope so. Sir Walter Wally (he is a groundhog) made a prediction today for 6 more weeks of winter 😦

I was wondering what the groundhog predicted. More snow 😦 You can borrow some our sunshine via the internet 🙂

You are right Sir Walter Wally (NC state groundhog) and Sir Punxsutawney Phil or Sir Phil for short (the famous one in Philadelphia) both saw their shadow. That predicts 6 more weeks of winter 😦

Thank you for the suggestion to borrow sunshine from NZ. I will take that 🙂

I hope I do not disappoint you. Cary is a very very small town. If you happen to be in Raleigh, Chapel Hill or Durham for some reason then take a detour to Cary might be good.

      Thank you.

The song is beautiful, one of my favorites of passenger – although they have done a recent collection of beautiful ones 🙂

I love this picture! The flowers hanging the white picket fence look as if they are reaching for the sky!

I didn’t know this song until you mentioned. I was really impressed its lyrics and melody as well. Beautiful song, isn’t it?
And what a beautiful photo here!!! I thought spring has come only around you. The color and composition seems perfect, as well as beautiful Bokeh. I’d like to keep it in my favorite photo frame and put it on the wall of my room.

I am glad you also like the song as well. Yes, it is a beautiful song.

Also thank you very much for the comments about the picture. No, the spring isn’t here yet. I am looking forward to spring time. It was snowing here last week and all grey sky days…

That is a great picture perspective. Like our lives, the focus shifts into the space of unfocussed.

    YellowCable,

“You miss something when you face the unwanted opposite thing”. How beautifully phrased. I have heard folks from snow belts of the world, who move to warmer climates, say “I miss the change of seasons.

Also, thank you for “Liking” the post “Alone. Not Lonely”. Streets Of Our World. on my photography blog http://www.throughharoldslens.com.

That is a good word for the song! The intro. music is lovely.. I was a bit caught by cold weather, rain and grey skies for couple of weeks in the roll.

I am glad you like the song and the picture. Thank you 🙂
