I am in a mood for something sweet. Hmm.. actually, I do not necessarily mean sweet desserts. Those are good thing (from time to time) too. I mean sweet moments that you come across in your daily life. Especially the ones that usually are overlooked or are just hidden under plain sight. The ones you experience their sweetness when you slow down and be in present moment. Sometimes, just taking a breath of fresh air and knowing you are still alive and well are the sweetest thing you have missed out for a long time.
Are you in the mood for something sweet too?
Have a happy St. Patrick’s Day … and have some strawberry cheese cakes.
I wanted to eat it involuntarily with the wonderful picture of cakes. I feel happy just looking♡

Wow, delicious picture. I feel your right, most are in too big of a hurry. They miss all the sweeter moments that are right in front of them. I hope you find a sweet moment today.

Mouthwatering picture! 😄 But I know what you mean that sweet moments don’t necessarily need to include sweet desserts. I was just going through some childhood pictures yesterday – lots of sweet moments there. 😊

Sweet desserts can be good, but I agree with you, it’s the small moments in life that makes up the really sweets.

Unfortunate, we trend to look for something much more tangible to our physical senses.

I like the strawberry cheesecake minis (mmmm)
And this sure is a fresh take on St Patrick’s day! Love it – we don’t need green – or beer – or rainbows and pots of gold –
Because the truth is that breath in the lungs but is very sweet. And life is so precious – thanks for the reminder

When I Silas younger (under 12) cheesecake was my top choice for bday cakes.
But then I tasted other things and top two now might be something decadent chocolate or real
Key lime pie
–
And your sweet treats are actually extra sweet cos of the size and huge all natural strawberry

I would say the same for me too but I am not sure about Key lime pie (haven’t had one for a long long time or since I left Fl.). Especially, these days my want to have this sort of sweet have subsided or no more. My craving for sweet is mostly from fruits rather.

and if you have a trader joe’s near you this summer- try their key lime pie – it is so good –

Great post, YC, both the photo which looks delicious but perhaps even more so the logic you put down in words 🙂 It is the small, sweet things in life that makes a day/week/month/life perfect ~ well done.

Hmmmm I love little cheesecakes, I left a message whilst I was in Korea but it doesn’t seem to have appeared. One day I went to the cake shops of Seoul it’s billed as a tourist attraction and it’s because their cakes are so photogenic – more style over taste for my western taste buds but they were fabulous to look at.

Oh I am so sorry Charlotte that I missed your early comment. I normally do not check the filtered post bucket. I know once in awhile this happens.
Thank you for sharing experience of the cake shop in Seoul. I know what you mean. I also think eastern style or taste of cake (such as in Japan) is different than what I used to in US. The taste is a bit milder and the texture is a bit softer.

I’m all for the sweet moments… we need them to mentally keep going. I love cheesecake too! 😊 I’ve never seen cheesecakes like those… so dainty… like desserts at ‘high tea’. Fit for a queen and those on diets! 😉

I think little size makes you feel more willing to eat it than one large one (at least for me). In the hope that you can stop with one or two 🙂
