It rains and rains…

Rained on Knock out rose bush

It rains and rains. For many days it rains and rains. Not pouring down heavy but long and lasting, it is torturing.

Day and day of grey skies, my thirst of sun light increases. If I were a vampire, I would be a vampire of light.

At night, my mind was unsettled from uncertain of tomorrow.  At least, it was calmed down by the sound of the soft rain outside.

Fell asleep, hoping tomorrow would be brighter.

      Thank you, Gallivanta. I think this is the result of the two systems together. The rain started before Joaquin arrived and then Joaquin continued and put more on top.

    Such a perfect shot of rain and the feeling it brings. HK is still very wet after the last typhoon blew in over the weekend, great for posting and spending some quality time indoors (and for sleep), but I am itching to get outside already. Cheers to a good week.

    I too am NOT a lover of rain…at all! Now a sprinkle here and there is fine…but the downpours day after day…SIGH! We had so much of this weather in Florida…I think I am allergic now. Smile. Your image is wonderful my friend.

    Ah, so like me, you like the sound of rain…very good! Falling asleep to it is very comforting, as long as you don’t get too much, or you’ll be unable to sleep and thinking about building an ark! 😉 You probably don’t get as much of the drizzly stuff as I get where I am do you? We’ve had a few drizzly days, but nice and sunny today – surprised us all!

    I love the water droplets on the leaves. Did you use some flash? The leaves remind me of a rose plant – but no roses. 🙂

      It does not have much of drizzly days over here. Some years or even at time, there were no rain for a long period of time (weeks and weeks). Few years back, it was close to the point of water shortage. All lakes dried up.

      Good eyes! Flash fired when I took the picture. I do not recall why I did that though 😦 So glad that you like the water droplets on the leaves 🙂 Oh they are rose plant.. Thank you Suzy!

      I can completely understand that. I just have to get used the opposite where there are raining time of the year but it is not common that it rains for many days non stop although it wasn’t heavy rains.

      Oh, winter is coming already! That is too soon.
