I got a PhotoBomb! But I like it..

Handsome Lizard Photobomb

When I was in a park somewhere in southern part of Thailand along time back, I came across this beautiful vines that grew on the base of a very very big tree there. The shape of leaves and how the vines formed looked so gracious. It drew my attention. I took the picture. I checked the camera to see if picture has focus where I pointed to.  The picture was great; I thought. I was happy.

When I got home and viewed the picture with normal size computer screen, I was so surprised.  There was Mr. Lizard handsomely stood few inches away from my main subject. Aggrr!! I was disappointed but not because of Mr. Lizard planted a photobomb on me.  I was disappointed that I did not see him and I could take a picture of him instead. He did such a great job blending with the surrounding (he was designed for that). He could be my supper star in that picture.

I like the picture nevertheless 🙂

He did. I am wondering that he might actually wanted to pose for me 🙂

A superb photo, YC, but it’s no wonder you missed seeing the lizard. Such great camouflage.

Fantastic image, YellowCable. How incredible that you were so focused on the vine, you never saw the lizard. As for blending in, he most certainly does!! So much so you didn’t see him. I’d say he did his job well, wouldn’t you? Good thing your camera’s eye saw him, and even if he is not the point of focus, so what? This gives your picture a sense of mystique. I really like this!!! Love, Amy ❤

Oh, no! I am really sorry that I missed your comments. Please forgive me.

Yes, I was so focus on the vine at that time. I think Mr. Lizard was tiny too. He was also standing in a bit of shade. I would love to get his pictures than the vine. I am not sure though if I were to focus on him he would let take his picture easily. I suspect he would move away quickly. I think that is his nature to blen in. That is his surviving skill 🙂

Thank you so much Amy for your comments and reminding me that I missed your commnts. Again, I am sorry for that.

I totally understand you 🙂 It happened to me too. I took a picture of a tree bark and when I got home I noticed a beautiful big moth with pretty much the same design as the bark 🙂

That’s cute! Once I took a picture of a cow and a calf in the high grass. When I opened it at home, there was also a deer in the background.

I can understand your vexation! That gorgeous lizard was just waiting for his close-up to be taken 😉 What a beauty!! I was photobombed by a wee water snake a couple weeks. He slithered right into the photo and peered up at me through a bubble capsule!

    Jubilant cheers- smiling toad

I know, sometimes we too focus on one thing and overlook other things (some are even more important) 🙂
