Red Leaves on The Ground

Fall, Fallen Leaves

One thing that I like about Fall is its beauty can extend down to the ground. Fallen leaves that scatter around on the ground can also be so pretty. Those still bright and colorful fallen leaves help amplify the beauty the scene.

Some say Fall is the second Spring. Β I think I agree to that but I also feel Fall moves at a faster pace, is more dramatic and has a bit of sadness. Perhaps that is how a great thing should end, likes a great firework show that ends with quick bursts of grand explosion…

Fall is my favorite season. Some are sad to see the leaves fade and fall to the ground, but as you and so many others are pointing out is that even the leaves on the ground are beautiful and a part of our amazing earth. πŸ™‚

I am still waiting for the leaves to turn where I live. 😦 There are years where they aren’t very pretty, but I am going to keep an open mind and look for the beauty anyway. πŸ™‚

I love how you compare fall to fireworks. 😊 it’s a great analogy.

There is nothing to compare with fall as far as seasons are concerned. Red has to be the most amazing color in autumns fireworks.

A beautiful image of autumn. I love the sparse colour tones and intricate patterns of leaves and grass.

This simple image brings with it a Message of Hope, and of Love. My Heart just melted when I saw your image, YellowCable, and for reasons I don’t really understand it really touched me. Gentle, yet with blazing color Mother’s Hand just casually arranged breath taking beauty on the ground as if to say .. There is Glory in all Seasons …. Thank you for sharing this Gift with me today. It brought along with it Hope. (((HUGS))) Amy

Yes autumn does have a certain sadness to it but I also like to think of all those colours as a storing up of the goodness of the year; a sign that everything is being gathered in and put away carefully until the warmth returns in spring.

It is the sadness of fall that I really like ~ it makes me more aware of the day and making sure I take advantage of the day before winter comes…and as you say, the colors are simply inspiring themselves. Agree, it is a great way for things to end (the year) before rest & preparation of winter. Cheers!

Beautiful leaves!! πŸ™‚ Autumn can be quite colourful, although I think you get a better assortment of colours than we get in the UK. Do you get a full autumn in Florida?

Thank you Suzy πŸ™‚ I thinks it depends on where you are in the US. In Florida, I do not think there are lots colors in Autumn. This picture was taken in North Carolina. The Autumn in North Carolina is colorful especially if you go up in the mountain. I have not been around the mountain in Autumn so far yet.
