YUMMY! How I miss the berries from Plant City Florida that grew just outside the bedroom window filling the air with such wonderful smells.

Beautiful strawberries!! Have you had strawberries in Japan? They are so soft and sweet. I was so shocked when I had strawberries in Seattle; they were so hard and not so tasty. What I liked was its price. I love other berries so much as well as cherries, oranges, nectarines in the U.S.

      Thank you Gomachan15!

I have not had a chance to try strawberries in Japan. I have heard that fruits produced in Japan are delicious. I tasted melon. It was fantastic. They are a bit pricey. I have a photo that shows the price of a melon in a show case from around Shibuya area.

You are right about strawberries in US. Often time they look ripen red but they do not taste good and rather hard. Once in a while, you come across some good ones πŸ™‚

Thank you very much!! πŸ˜€ They do look very lovely and sweet – such a good picture you’ve done there! We tend to be sold illusionary strawberries here in Britain. Sometimes they are sweet, but a lot of the time they are not. 😦 And it doesn’t seem to matter if they come from the UK or abroad – strange that. But when they are – oh, they are the most delicious fruit! πŸ™‚ I had some strawberries dipped in chocolate a few months ago, and I was amazed at how well the chocolate went with that strawberry flavour. I can see why strawberries and chocolate are so popular!

You are right! The strawberries here are the same. They look so good most of the time. You run into good one only once in a while. Yes, when they are good they are good. These batch was one of the lucky one.

Yes, strawberries dipped in chocolate are amazing. The combination of the two makes it come out like 1+1 = 3. A good food invention πŸ™‚

      Thank you Suzy!
