A Church Window

When you look at a church, I think one thing that probably may catch your eyes among many things about the church is church windows.  The designs or architectures of church windows have long history of how they (according to the wiki page I found) come about. They continue on with the tradition till today.

Church Window

This church window is from a very small church that I pass by daily.  The window follows the tradition. It is rather simple as the matter of fact. Yet, I think the simplicity in it is attractive.

You have a Zen-like ability to cut to the core of things. To do a post that speaks volumes. Which is why my husband and I eagerly await each of your posts.
We are both interested in you.
    Your photos kick butt.
    But you do more.
    Quietly.
You spend more time reading and responding to posts than any blogger I know. In essence, because you are not moivated by personal ego.
In essence you rock your socks off.

The windows are beautiful both inside and out. When I used to go to church and if the sermon got a bit boring, I always looked at the windows. 🙂 I also thumbed through the hymnal.

Thank you Eunice. You do strained glass too! That is so cool (you might have some blogs about this but I am sorry that I do not recall – my poor memory or getting old).

Something both very simple and divine about the window. Very nicely captured.

Very beautiful! Love how the bushes and fences at the bottom part have brought out the brick background and the white window pane.

Perfect elements all in a photo.

Thank you so much for sharing~ Cheers!! 😀

    You take really beautiful pictures.
I too like paying attention to details on buildings, including windows. I think there is a lot of beauty in old buildings, even if not restored.

Its is beautiful and the reflections appearing in its surface give off a complexity to it. 🙂

Which is kind of a contradiction, because the design itself in terms of church windows is particularly simple..

Another #StunningCapture – you’re blessed to be walking passed it every day 🙂

Simplicity can be very attractive, that window certainly looks very attractive, and very clean cut too. Is it a new church?

That is not a new church. I believe it has been there for quite sometime. They are actually repairing the roof or something. Thank you.
