This weekend is a memorial day weekend in the US. It is a three day weekend. That is nice. It is also a mark of summer time is coming soon. Traditionally people around here go to the beach on this holiday. I am not one of them but I feel like I also need to feel the bright open sky, the wind, the sea and the sand on the beach. If you feel the same then I hope this picture helps a little.

Lovely beach thoughts! 🙂 Although I live in a city, I’m close to the coast, so should be heading in that direction soon. My brother said he’d like to have a day at the beach for his birthday – so that’s what I’m planning. 🙂 Just need to wish for some warm winds now – it’s been sunny here in the UK, but not warm at all – I don’t like chilly days at the beach, it’s just not the same! 😦

Ah, grand! I thought this was Indialantic the moment I saw the photo- what joy to see such confirmed! Beautiful entry and exquisite photo. I go to this beach now and then, being only a couple miles down the way. A lot of interesting characters to see hovering about the boardwalk!
I had no idea that Memorial Day was such a beach day until this year, oddly. I’ve loitered about haunting the ocean for years and never noticed oh bother.
Anyhow, love the tranquil peace of this entry, and oh so love the feeling of the photo. Nice offshore storm in the distant horizon, sluicing sunshine, and beautiful white sibilant froth. Nothing better…oooo and that lovely saturation of vivid blue. Very well-done, love it!!

About the cat, black is like one of mine, and the brown and white also, and his head is exactly the same, the color too. In fact, they are all two invited in my home, because they were abandoned, They were very hungry. Today, my home is their!

It was a amazing seascape! You need to go more often as should I lol it is the 2nd day of 95 here in NH from 50 to 90 CRAZY and I hate all the crazies in summer but do adore winters along the Atlantic seaboard 🙂

Yes, it has been crazy around here (NC) too. The temp went down to 40 and came back to 90+ now. I still do like summer than winter though.

I used to live near the ocean but hardly visit the place. Now I live closer to forest or at least many dense tall tree parks are near by, I like to visit the ocean 🙂 Thank you.

While waiting for a new post from you (?) I just want to say that I really love this images. It brings a feeling of summer across. The endurable lightness of summer at the beach, which is a feeling you have enhanced by the slightly brighter exposure and the very delicate colours.
