Chickadees

These are Chickadees (I think they are “Black-capped”). They are so cute little creature. I am not a birder (with lots of patience) but these chickadees enjoyed the feast so much that  they seemed to forget someone was being close and shooting them away. They enjoyed their feast and I enjoyed taking ’em pictures. A nice eco system 😉

Relax and enjoy

With a piece to go

A curious look at me

Yes, they are black-capped chickadees. They are friendly birds that will even eat seeds out of your hand. They also like having their photo taken, unlike all the other birds in my yard, that fly and hide as soon as I open the door. Nice photos 🙂

I do not know that they are friendly and will even eat out of your hand. That would be fantastic. Thank you Northern Narratives.

I love the Chickadees. They are such cute little devils. My mom use to get them to land in the palm of her hand for food.

I wonder how you can make them trust you to come and feed off your hand. I would love to do that. Thanks.
